Opening Knights

Opening Knights is a student led organization centered around the theatre community at Cedar Ridge. Members have the opportunity to participate in Theatre at the Ridge events including the Halloween Costume Drive, the 24 Hour Musical, and the Valentines Day Fundraiser. Active members can also be inducted into the International Thespian Society, an internationally recognized drama honor society that celebrates student achievement in the arts. Come join to learn more about the organization and become more involved with Theatre at the Ridge!

Opening Knights Meetings

All meetings are generally held the first Wednesday of each month. Exceptions may apply to accommodate for school breaks. 

Time is from 8:30 am to 8:55 am.

Opening Knights Give Back to the Community

Past fundraising efforts include:

Halloween Costume Drive: 

Gently new and clean Halloween costumes were collected and donated to families in need.

24HR Musical: 

Donations were collected in lieu of ticket prices for our 24 hour production of Mama Mia. All proceeds ($1350) are being donated to CARITAS of Austin.
